Seriously, what the hell is wrong with these people?

All week, PAAU and Terrisa Bukovinac have continued their campaign to keep the fetal remains that they (allegedly) stole - from people that they do not know, who obtained legal abortions - from being destroyed. Because they… somehow will give them a more honorable burial after keeping them in coolers in Lauren Handy’s apartment. 

For everybody keeping score at home, they (allegedly) stole products of conception en route to be incinerated, named the five largest ones and did an unboxing video of them on the internet, dressed up as them for Halloween, and created bizarre baby doll fanart of the fetuses as a protest prop. Somehow, this ghoulish clown show led by a cult has had buy-in from a number of conservative politicians, including Ted Cruz and Chip Roy. Because conservative politicians apparently hate pregnant people even more than they hate the modern Manson family, as long as they can use them for their own gains. 

The Center For Medical Progress, David Daleiden’s org, dropped a FOIA’d email from the National Abortion Federation that says they were working with DOJ on the information around the (alleged) fetus theft. One thing that stands out to me is the request that providers not speak out on the topic. 

Not providing a counter narrative is a HUGE part of what got us into this mess. And now, in the midst of an incredibly surreal debate over the fate of fetal remains, All news in the media right now around the FACE Act is about these five fetuses, or the advanced age of the “peaceful pro-life protesters” who were just convicted in Mt Juliet, TN.

WHAT THE HELL IS A FACE ACT JIHAD? Pick a path.

Ironically, none of the news of the week covered the current FACE case happening in New York, involving Bevelyn Beatty Williams, and Edmee Chavannes - who were in Nashville with several of the people from the Mt. Juliet (and Sterling Heights, and Ft. Myers) case during one of the incidents they are on trial for. 

Now keep in mind, every FACE case that has happened, or is about to, and the (alleged) theft of the box of fetuses and their subsequent online unboxing. These are all incidents where the accused (whether they are being charged or not) recorded their own crimes and posted them on the internet themselves. Anybody trying to keep clinics safe watched them knowingly and willfully breaking the law (over and over and over again), and now they want to double back and act like they are the victims, and abolish the laws they know they broke. And what’s worse, it might actually happen, since nobody seems willing to do a fucking story about how all these people keep going on multi-state crime sprees.
